Isaiah tolerated the cast very well the first 48 hours. So thanks for all the prayer! Unfortunately, as time has gone by, he has gotten more impatient with the cast. For some reason this surprised me. I thought he would get used to it as time went on, not the opposite. I guess I can understand Isaiah thinking, “When in the world are they going to take this thing off of me?”
Lefty has gotten more attention in the last week then in Isaiah’s whole life! He has to work really hard just to lift his arm up and down, but he seems to be improving. His biggest motivator is computer games at therapy, so hopefully he’ll do well at his Monday and Wednesday appointments this weak.
On a final note, I was hoping to add a specific request for your prayers. The Botox Isaiah received has made his left arm limp and he is unable to grasp his hand around an object. This is unusual, since before he could grasp easily, just not let go. Please pray that the Botox would slowly dissipate from his lower arm, giving him more ability with his fingers to hold things like toys and spoons. Blessings to all of you who are lifting Isaiah up in prayer.
