Field Trip Friday: Chuck E. Cheese

Annie Jo and Sophie were ready to go in their matching shirts. Chuck E. Cheese, here we come! We met Granma Kelly, Aunties Chelsea and Emily in Maple Grove at 10 am for a morning of fun and pizza.

We had the place to ourselves most of the morning. Sophie and Jeremiah ran around pushing buttons and laughing. Isaiah was in his element-surrounded by video games and large blinking buttons. Annie Jo loved Mr. Chuck E. Cheese and especially liked collecting tickets.

"PeePa!" Jeepers shouts as we sit down for lunch. Who can resist a slice of pizza after all that hard game playing? Sophie ate almost 2 pieces! Annie and Isaiah took advantage of the greenscreen up front with Emily. Isaiah got to go in front of a waterski back drop-it looked like he was skiing in the wake of a boat in Zippie! Hilarious! Isaiah could see himself on the screen in front of him and couldn't stop smiling. Neither could Mommy. Everyone was pooped out as we headed back. Another very successful field trip Friday.

We have some great news to share! No-I'm not pregnant. But, Isaiah will be receiving a bike from Big Dad's, a non-profit organization that raises money for disabled children. This bike retails at $3,000.00 becauses of the adaptions made to it for Isaiah, including rear steering and a headrest, but we will be paying nothing for it. Such a blessing. Our next question was, where are we going to store it, and how will we bring it anywhere? A phone call from Matt and Susie comes the next day telling us we can HAVE for FREE a 4x8 enclosed trailer. Praise the Lord, a house is next-although I am not expecting it to be free:)

After Daddy got home from work today we went outside to the park and played with friends and Daddy's tractor-it drew quite a crowd!

Isaiah tried his hand at roller skating...he went very fast on the basketball court!

Jeremiah climbed on the playground and followed the "tra-tor" (tractor) around. He has so many words now-it blows me away how quick little kids are. I find myself pausing to soak him up just the way he is and not wanting him to change one bit!

Isaiah likes to swing. He can hold himself up in a baby swing for along time now using both of his hands! He couldn't do that a year ago. He is such a trooper and a very hard worker. Handsome like his Daddy too.

We're heading to the Ranch on Friday for 10 days, so we'll give you a big update when we get back. Enjoy the last part of your July!

Hamel Rodeo & Moving Grandpa & Grandma

Another hot fast paced weekend! On Saturday I took the boys to the Hamel Rodeo with my friend Kristy and her little ones. We watched buckin' broncos and the bull ridin' bonanza. Isaiah had a blast watching all the cowboys and horses. Jeremiah enjoyed a very red popsicle in the hot sun and then fell asleep in the stroller.

We headed over to Grandma Kelly's house after a couple baths and a shower for mommy. Daddy had been working hard with everyone all day loading trucks for the big move. Closing is on Friday and they are getting close to being done-especially after another whole day today spent cleaning, packing and moving. Grandma Betty fed the whole crew dinner at her house. We left with full bellys and tired boys.
Isaiah being silly upside down on the couch at Grandma Betty's house.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Blessings on the coming week!

Independance Day

I hope everyone had a great holiday. We had a wonderful day at the beach with the Niklason's, Davey's and Grandpa and Grandma Kosik. We headed out to the beach at 11:30 am and swam, played in the sand, ate snacks and went to the park until 4:30pm.
Everyone headed back to barbque burgers. hot doags, brats, chicken and corn. We had quite a spread! After dinner we muched on Grandma's brownies and started getting ready for fireworks.
At 9:45pm we were well situated and fighting mosquitos while the kids played at the Waterfront Park in Prior Lake. 10pm the first big one shot up-Jeremiah cried and Isaiah laughed. Grandma Kelly kept Jeremiah comfy and covered his ears tight. He pointed up and said "Sky. Boom!" Isaiah could hardly contain himself. His favorite ones were the REALLY LOUD green ones with gold in the center (of course). Go Pack! The boys were so tuckered out when we woke them the next morning! (so were Mommy and Daddy!) Thursday should be a national holiday too!

Lots of Love, The LaBelle's
